These are based on the same principle as Kim Adsit's math workjobs. Students will sort sound cards by the beginning sound. They will put like sounds together - only 1 sound per card.

I will start with A - E (SF Reading Street introduces A-E the first week.) I will gradually add more sound cards when the student is proficient.

Materials: workmats & sound cards. Each student has their own set of workmats and sound cards.
